“I used to think I had this parenting thing down pat. I’d always been there for my kids, from silly songs to scraped knees. I thought I knew how to guide them, to teach them right from wrong. But lately, it feels like I’ve lost my way. They’re no longer the sweet, innocent children I raised. Now they’re sulky, secretive, and stand-offish. I try to talk to them, to connect, but it feels like I’m talking to a brick wall. I don’t understand what’s changed, and I’m starting to doubt my own abilities as a parent.“

Parenting teens is a whirlwind of emotions, rapid mood swings, and constant change. And juuuust when you think you’ve got a handle on things, they morph into a completely different person overnight.
Gone are the days of sweet cuddles and bedtime stories. Now, you’re navigating complex social dynamics, academic pressures, and the ever-present threat of technology. Every conversation feels like walking on eggshells, and every decision is met with a chorus of “You don’t understand!”

“There is so much about the classes that I appreciated! The breathing, idea of self care, the understanding that the most important thing is to see your daughter as a neshama. I loved writing a letter to your teen everyday, I could go on and on…
The material was clear, and I looked forward to the class every week!”

“Knowing Mrs. Fried from her course and on a personal level, I can say that Mrs. Fried is a role model for what she presents in her outstanding classes. Now that I have the proper outlook, I feel empowered and equipped to be an emotional anchor for my teenagers, and to let go of controlling their personal journeys.“

Hi! I’m Coach Shifra, and I’m an expert in all things teens. I know that parenting teens can be a messy, confusing, and frustrating phase. It’s completely normal to feel frazzled and even a little lost at times. Remember, you’re not alone. Many parents go through similar experiences.
I’m certified by the Dina Friedman Academy. As a rebbetzin, lecturer, a mom of many teens (some of whom are now beginning to raise their own pre-teens!) I’m passionate about helping parents improve their relationship with their children– especially teens.

It’s only $400

I just wanted to share that something must be feeling right to my daughter. She went to the store today and bought me warm, cozy slippers and wrote a beautiful letter about how I am always there for her. I don’t think I am a perfect parent now, but it was such a nice feeling and tells me I am going in the right direction. BH, thank you for your part in that!
